About Laurie
Founder of La Collina Artist Residency, in Tuscany, Italy, Director of the Conant Gallery, Lawrence Academy,Groton, MA.
People in their environment is my favorite subject matter. Don't ask me why I'm completely fascinated by Italy and return there every chance I get! It's probably because it is so transporting in time as well as space. The people I meet there are so open and accepting. I've also been photographing rugby, (a lot) a sport I've grown to love thanks to one of my sons. You can view some of those photos on Mystic River Rugby's facebook page. I currently teach photography at Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA, where I have the opportunity to work with students from all over the world. I have led workshops in Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Ireland, New Mexico and Colorado. Member; Womens Caucus for Art, Monadnock Art: Friends of the Dublin Art Colony
